Inside the luxury car, Yan Yichen’s handsome face was terrifyingly gloomy. His thin lips were pressed into a tight line, and an aura of predatory danger emanated from him.

This girl actually denied their relationship?

And she did it right in front of her admirer, Ke Sen!

Had she even considered his feelings?

Yan Yichen arched an eyebrow. "However... I’ve changed my mind now."

"How can you go back on your word?"

"Why can't I?"

Yan Yichen let out a low chuckle, his slender fingers gently pinching her delicate chin. "It is only natural for me to kiss my own girlfriend; it’s not against the law."

"..."

Meng Yi'er rolled her large, round eyes, her brain racing at lightning speed, desperately searching for a retort.

But in an instant, Yan Yichen’s lips were already pressed firmly against hers.

"Yan Yichen, you didn't keep your word..."

Meng Yi'er accused him, her face flushed with shyness, but she couldn't break free and was forced to passively endure his gentle kiss.

A faint, sweet fragrance escaped from her slightly parted lips. Yan Yichen restrained himself from deepening the kiss, merely tasting her briefly before letting her go.

"How can you blame me for this?"

Yan Yichen rested his forehead against hers, his low, husky voice undulating slowly in her ears. A smile played on his god-like handsome face, one that even carried a hint of innocence.

Looking at his devastatingly charming smile, Meng Yi'er was dazed for a moment, her heart pounding violently.

After a long while, she finally regained her composure and chided him, "If I don't blame you, who should I blame? Should I blame myself?"

Was this man being unreasonable? It was clearly he who had gone back on his word, so why was he blaming someone else?

"Of course, I blame you."

Meng Yi'er was choked with anger. "Me? Why me?"

Yan Yichen smiled, pressed a light kiss to her forehead, and stared into her eyes with his dark, profound gaze, saying tenderly, "If you weren't so tempting, how could I possibly fail to control myself?"

Shyly, Meng Yi'er lowered her gaze and allowed him to hold her. With her flushed little face pressed against his chest, listening to the drum-like rhythm of his heartbeat, her face grew even redder.

After a moment of hesitation, she gently pushed him away. "It's very late. Go back now."

A deep sense of reluctance lingered in Yan Yichen’s eyes, but he let her go nonetheless.

"I’ll wait for you to have breakfast together tomorrow morning."

Meng Yi'er nodded, cast him a look with her bright eyes, and gave him a radiant smile.

"Goodnight."

"Goodnight."

Watching her close the door, severing the sight between them, Yan Yichen let out a soft sigh. The corners of his lips curved upward, and his cold, handsome face wore a smile that seemed incongruous with his temperament.

Hearing the door open, Auntie Yun emerged from her room, a deep, warm smile on her kind face.

"You're back, Young Master?"

"Yes." Yan Yichen replied as he changed his shoes. "Auntie Yun, why are you still up so late?"

Auntie Yun walked over to the door and tucked his shoes into the cabinet. "People get old and need less sleep... I couldn't fall asleep. Did you go on a date with Miss Meng, Young Master?"

Yan Yichen smiled faintly, a trace of imperceptible shyness flickering in his ink-black eyes. "Auntie Yun, go to sleep now."

Seeing her usually reticent and stern young master show a slightly shy smile, Auntie Yun’s own smile widened. She chuckled and said, "Alright, alright... I’m going to sleep. You should rest early too."

"Alright... Goodnight, Auntie Yun."

Auntie Yun gave him one last kind look before turning to walk toward her room on the first floor.
