The Japanese military was now terrified of Lin Feng. It was not just because he had killed so many of their soldiers; the real issue was that after his massacres, he would systematically burn down everything in the garrison—equipment, technical documents, and all.

The Japanese military brass dumped this nightmare onto the Emperor, with high-ranking officials urging him to find a way to deal with Lin Feng immediately. Only then did the Emperor realize what it meant to invite a god in only to find him impossible to send away. Had he known Lin Feng would be this difficult to handle, he never would have meddled in the affairs of the Iga clan.

In the end, completely out of options and unsure how to handle Lin Feng, the Emperor had no choice but to place a call to the top leadership of China.

The call was answered by Premier Zhu. The two spoke for over half an hour, their conversation revolving entirely around Lin Feng. When the call finally ended, Premier Zhu’s face was beaming with joy; he immediately left his office to share the good news with the Chairman.

Meanwhile, after wiping out another small Japanese garrison and scrubbing the scene clean, Lin Feng left with a sense of satisfaction. Since the internal energy of his Imperial Art allowed him to alter his appearance at will, he could walk through the bustling streets of Japan in any guise he chose, and no one would ever recognize him.

At that moment, Lin Feng was sitting in a Chinese restaurant in Japan, filling his stomach. Suddenly, his phone began to vibrate. For the sake of his operations, he had long since silenced the ringtone.

Lin Feng pulled the phone from his pocket and was surprised to see a caller ID consisting entirely of special symbols. Curious, he pressed the answer button.

"Lin Feng, is that you?" Premier Zhu’s voice came through the line.

"Oh, yes, it’s me. Is this... is this Grandpa Zhu?" Lin Feng recognized the familiar voice and asked to confirm.

"Haha, it is indeed. I’m quite honored that you still remember my voice—that’s no small feat!" Premier Zhu joked from the other end.

"How could I forget? I could forget anyone else’s voice, but never yours, Grandpa Zhu!" Lin Feng buttered him up.

After a few more exchanges of banter, Premier Zhu got to the point: "Lin Feng, you’ve had your fun in Japan, don't you think it’s time to come home?"

Lin Feng was unaware that the Japanese Emperor had contacted the Premier. Puzzled by the request, he asked, "Grandpa Zhu, why are you concerned about this? Does my returning home have anything to do with your work?"

"What? Are you saying you want to stay in Japan a while longer and aren't ready to return?" Premier Zhu probed further.

"Of course. I haven't finished stirring up trouble for the Japanese military yet. I’m definitely staying a few more days; I can't leave until I’ve collected my interest," Lin Feng replied firmly.

Premier Zhu fell silent for a moment. When he spoke again, his tone was no longer playful but solemn. "Lin Feng, you should come back. Over an hour ago, the Emperor of Japan called our country's leadership. He wants us to intervene and bring you home. Japan clearly has no way to handle you, which is why they’ve done this; in a sense, their leadership has capitulated. They’ve even offered our nation certain concessions in exchange for us convincing you to return. I think this has gone far enough. If you keep pushing, it will turn into a total deadlock that neither side can resolve, and no one will benefit. From my position, I want you to come home. Japan has already paid the price—over a thousand professional soldiers have been sacrificed. Your grudge has been vented. Enough is enough, Lin Feng. Come back."

Lin Feng listened quietly to the Premier’s persuasion, remaining silent. Premier Zhu, patient as ever, waited for a response.

After a long while, Lin Feng finally relented. He gripped the phone tighter and said, "Alright, I will return immediately."

"Good. Have a safe trip. When you get back, I want to have a good talk with you. Your individual combat prowess is truly terrifying. Japan may be small, but its military strength is nothing to sneeze at, yet you managed to scare them into submission all by yourself. And that Longteng Gang of yours—you have quite a few experts there!" After these parting words, the Premier hung up.

Thinking about the Premier’s promise to "have a good talk" and recalling the outcome of their last meeting in Zhongnanhai, Lin Feng felt a headache coming on.

However, he would not break his word. After lunch, he headed to the airport to buy the earliest flight to Beijing. On the way, he noticed several people shadowing him. He assumed they were Japanese government agents, but since they made no move, he ignored them.

Not until his plane took off did the tailing agents disperse. Soon, the Japanese high command and the major families knew that the "Star of Calamity," Lin Feng, had left, and they finally breathed a sigh of relief.

When the plane landed in Beijing, Lin Feng called Lin Yu to pick him up. Word of his return spread quickly through the Lin family, and his mother and Xia Ruoxi were moved to tears of joy.

Lin Yu was equally excited, flooring the accelerator the entire way. Having heard from the elder about everything Lin Feng had done in Japan, he held his cousin in even higher esteem.

"You're an idol! You're truly my idol!" Lin Yu shouted when he saw him at the airport, rushing forward to hug him and pat his back. "You’re a beast! Even the Japanese high command was terrified of you. You're incredible!"

Lin Feng endured the heavy pats until he couldn't take the pain anymore. He pushed Lin Yu away, rubbing his sore shoulder. "You're not made of steel—why do you hit so hard?"

"Sorry, I was just too excited!" Lin Yu laughed sheepishly.

"Enough talk, let's go," Lin Feng said, heading for the car.

Back at the Lin estate, the atmosphere was jubilant. Xia Ruoxi rushed to Lin Feng the moment he walked in, throwing her arms around him and letting her pent-up worry and grievances flow out as tears. Lin Feng held her tightly, wanting her to feel the depth of his feelings in return.

As they embraced, his mother, Liu Runli, chimed in with mock jealousy, "I’ve doted on you for all these years, only for you to forget your mother the moment you have a wife. I was worried sick about you too, you know!"

Xia Ruoxi pulled away in embarrassment. Lin Feng shot his mother a look of playful resentment for interrupting their moment.

With the return of their hero, the Lin home was filled with long-absent laughter. Everyone was proud that Lin Feng had turned Japan upside down and forced their government to beg for mercy.

That evening, just as the family finished dinner, Premier Zhu and Minister Xie arrived at the Lin estate. The womenfolk tactfully left the hall, leaving it to the men.

"Haha, welcome back, our great hero!" Premier Zhu teased as he sat down. The room erupted in laughter, though Lin Feng wore a sullen expression.

Elder Xie stepped forward, his voice filled with gratitude. "Lin Feng, I must thank you. Professionally, thank you for rescuing every member of the Falcon Commando. Personally, thank you for saving my grandson."

"It was just a small effort, Elder Xie, no need for such formalities," Lin Feng replied modestly.

"It may be a small effort to you, but to me and to the nation, it is a great debt. The Xie family and the military will not forget your service," the elder insisted solemnly.

Seeing he could not refuse, Lin Feng accepted the gratitude.

Premier Zhu then spoke up. "I have to re-evaluate you, kid. Setting aside your business ventures, your individual combat strength is truly beyond the norm. When you wiped out the Tiger Head Gang in Beijing, it was impressive, but what you did in Japan—taking on their military, eliminating over a thousand men, reportedly including their Shinpu Commando, and forcing them to beg for our intervention—that makes you, Lin Feng, a unique legend on the world stage."
