Chapter Ninety: Wu Chen and the Sovereign Particle

"We found him! He is over there! Hurry, fly closer!" Instructor Moon Fox cried anxiously from the helicopter.

The aircraft swept above the summit of the Seven Star Peak. Before the helicopter could lower the rope ladder, Moon Fox sprang straight out of the cabin.

Major Lin Feng of the Shadow Legion on board frowned and tried to stop her. "Instructor Moon Fox! Have you gone mad?"

But nothing could stand in the way of her desperate urge to save a life.

With a heavy crash, Moon Fox landed hard on the rocks, sending dust billowing into the air.

She scanned her surroundings warily, and once she was certain there was no danger, she ran to Chen Mo's side.

Blood spread around him like a river. The gaping wound in his back was horrifying; it was obvious someone had pierced him from behind.

Moon Fox's eyes turned red. She shouted at the helicopters above, which were hovering with uneasy caution, "What are you all standing there for? Where is the medical team? Get them down here now! Wu Chen has long since run off; he's not here! Save him, now! Chen Mo, Chen Mo, don't be afraid. The instructor is here. You won't die!"

Chen Mo's consciousness had not actually faded; he had only been pretending to pass out. Hearing Moon Fox's words, warmth surged through his heart, and he almost cried on the spot. But with so much blood lost, he was truly reaching his limit, his thoughts already growing hazy.

In the very last instant before consciousness slipped away, Chen Mo heard his sister's voice. This time, he was no longer pretending. He truly lost consciousness and sank into sleep.

Just as Chen Mo was immersed in the satisfaction of the vast universe and the blazing sun, Ning Xuan's voice suddenly rang through the cosmos.

The barrier collapsed, and all twenty-three stars burst through the裂.

"Sister!!"

With a sudden jolt, Chen Mo sprang upright in bed, eyes wide open, and shouted at the top of his lungs.
