Chen Mo was completely innocent—how did he end up being called a pervert?! Surely, Shangguan Chao Yue must have thought he’d smelled her clothes in the bathroom, but heavens above, Chen Mo had only stolen a glance, never once inhaled their scent!

With nearly two thousand students watching from the stands, Chen Mo could not defend himself.

The students on the bleachers were bewildered by the exchange between these two; they wondered, what was going on? Wasn’t it normal for men to smell things once in a while?

“Oh no! Could it be? Is my brother…?” Ning Xuan stared at her brother and Shangguan Chao Yue, their eyes locked in a strangely ambiguous gaze. Her little head was spinning, unable to accept what she saw.

Instructor Moon Fox tactlessly broke the moment between the two men. “I hereby declare! Chen Mo of Class D is the victor! Chen Mo is promoted to Class B, Shangguan Chao Yue is demoted to Class D!”

“Class D? Class D! Ha ha ha! I’ve actually been demoted to Class D, ha ha ha!” Shangguan Chao Yue clutched her head in both hands, face contorted, unwilling to accept the outcome.

How fiercely competitive was Shangguan Chao Yue—a woman who yearned to stun the entire school with her strength, to be admired by all. She had dreamed of defeating Ning Xuan and becoming the top student, yet never imagined she would lose to someone from Class F, someone she had looked down upon for a month—a roommate. Worst of all, this roommate was the only person who knew her true identity as a woman!

It was as if the persona Shangguan Chao Yue had painstakingly crafted for over a decade had been shattered in an instant.

Watching his roommate collapse, Chen Mo felt a pang of sympathy. Truth be told, without the map, Shangguan Chao Yue’s stealth and assassination skills were unmatched—at least for now, few in the school could counter them.

Chen Mo stepped forward and gently patted her on the back. “Chao Yue, don’t forget your resolve. It’s only one defeat. Didn’t you want to become the strongest? If you can’t endure a single failure, how will you ever reach that goal? Stand up—this is just the beginning. There’s another chance in next month’s ranking matches…”

“Get lost!” With sudden fury, Shangguan Chao Yue shot to her feet and shoved Chen Mo aside.

“I don’t need your hypocritical consolation! You’ve always been pretending to be weak! You’re not really at Class F’s level at all! You’ve been deliberately feigning weakness to attract attention, just so everyone would think you’re amazing for beating someone from Class B!”

Chen Mo smiled calmly. “If that’s what you believe, then I have nothing more to say.”

In fact, the strength Chen Mo displayed was still a form of restraint. Were he to unleash his full power, perhaps only Moon Fox could withstand even a single move from him.

“Ha ha ha!” Shangguan Chao Yue laughed wildly. “Chen Mo, don’t worry. My heart isn’t so fragile. I was careless this time. I never expected you to be so cunning, hiding your abilities. But next time, it will be me challenging you! I will reclaim today’s humiliation tenfold!”

With that, she strode out of the sports hall without a backward glance.

Shangguan Chao Yue, having been defeated and demoted to Class D, was no longer eligible to challenge, so leaving early made no difference. Instructor Moon Fox therefore did not stop her but continued, “Chen Mo, do you wish to continue your challenge?”

The hall fell silent once again. All eyes were on Chen Mo, once the lowest-ranked student in the school—just how many miracles would he create today?

Chen Mo answered, unruffled, “Of course.”

An uproar swept through the crowd!

Class F—whether those who once looked down on Chen Mo, those who pitied him, or those who hadn’t cared at all—rose as one, eyes bright with tears, clapping wildly. “Good! Well done!”

“See? This is someone from our Class F! Who dares say we’re trash now?”

“Class F rising! Class F never surrenders!”

In that moment, courage surged in the hearts of the timid students of Class F. If Chen Mo, once ranked last, could grow step by step, why couldn’t they?

Moon Fox smiled broadly, gratified. She had not misjudged him; she had witnessed Chen Mo grow from the hundred-meter sprint, to the thousand, to fifteen hundred meters, step by step. She had personally taught him all manner of combat techniques. She knew well that Chen Mo was a diligent, hardworking student who never missed a lesson nor took a day off. In Moon Fox’s eyes, Chen Mo was no genius, but an ordinary man whose perseverance would bring forth greatness.

Chen Mo made a request: “Instructor, after that last match, my magic has nearly been depleted. May I rest first?”

Moon Fox nodded eagerly. “Naturally, as the victor, you have that right. When your magic is restored, simply signal me and you may challenge again.”

“Thank you, Instructor!” In the previous battle, especially during the energy explosion, Chen Mo had exhausted all his magic. Though he could draw energy from the Demon King, it wouldn’t fit the persona of the Little Prince, so he played the part thoroughly. Taking Shangguan Chao Yue’s place, he proceeded to the Class B stands, occupying the prime position at the very front.

Many Class B girls admired Shangguan Chao Yue. They resented Chen Mo for defeating her, so when he approached, not only did they fail to welcome him, but whispered snidely, “Hmph, despicable! Hypocrite!”

“Exactly, if he hadn’t feigned weakness and lulled Chao Yue into complacency, he could never have beaten her!”

Yet some rational voices murmured, “Shh, keep your voice down. He’s now the strongest in Class B—offend him and you’ll regret it.”

“What’s there to fear? It’s not like he’ll come after me!”

Chen Mo heard the whispers and suddenly turned his head.

The chatter ceased instantly; those students dared not meet his gaze.

He spoke coolly, “Watch the matches, everyone. Stop discussing me. I won’t stay in Class B—you can rest easy.”

Confident, arrogant, heedless, imperious—these words sprang to mind as Class B heard his nonchalant pronouncement.

The ranking tournament continued, with multiple matches at once. Many Class F students, inspired by Chen Mo, stepped up to challenge, even those who’d been hesitant before. Though most failed, ten managed to advance.

Next, twenty from Class D successfully challenged Class C. The battles between Class C and Class B were the fiercest, with many closely matched students and thrilling contests. The sports hall’s floor was riddled with cracks—after this tournament, it would surely need repairs.

Ding Yan’s attempt to join Class B ended in defeat, much to Chen Mo’s regret for his friend.

Ding Yan had begun as a magic apprentice, then bought a warrior role package, switching to warrior. The Evolution Forum said there was a slim chance to become a magic-warrior hybrid—a magic swordsman. Sadly, Ding Yan wasn’t so lucky. He failed to awaken as a magic swordsman, leaving him weak in both magic and melee, and stuck in Class C.

Soon it was Class B’s turn to challenge Class A. Many tried, but few succeeded; Class A was truly the strongest, with each student formidable and most wielding powerful D-grade equipment earned as rewards.

The most exciting battles began: the ranking duels within Class A. No one dared challenge the top five geniuses. As classmates, they understood just how terrifying those five truly were.

The door creaked open—the return of Wu Chen, one of the five geniuses, after a three-hour absence. His gaze locked instantly onto Chen Mo; anyone could see the fire and murderous intent in his eyes!

But by the rules, Class A could not challenge Class B.

Wu Chen sneered, pointing directly at the top-ranked Ning Xuan, his voice booming like a beast’s roar. “I! Challenge! Ning! Xuan!”
